hi guys! I'm new here, i just set-up shopperpress. Can anyone help me how to disable the quantity field?

that's easy. just do not use the "qty" custom field. The quantity will be "0". In other words, no stock.

I did exactly just that but the problem is it shows: Out of Stock. I don't want the Quantity shown, how do i do this?

well, im sure Mark can do something a simple switch like on or off question ... but for me, for a quicker one, i will just edit the language file under the functions/lang/ directory. look for the english file. find the specific "Sorry, out of stock" term and edit to whatever you like.

My problem is that when I dont use the qty field, I get a out of stock error..I have to use the qty field and set to about 1000 or something so that the cart sees that there is stock available to purchase .

Hi
I want to allow digital downloads of ebooks from my store http://www.african-elephant.co.uk
Obviously stock qty does not count in this case but shopperpress still stops the checkout with an "Out of stock" message even though I have qty set to 100.
Could this be toggled off if a download link exists?
Or perhaps it could be some incorporated in the shipping options.Thanks
