Finding Hot Niche Markets

The niche you pick right now could mean the difference between a $10 website and a $10,000 website so make sure you pick the right one!

Lucky for you I’m going to show you how, so listen closely;

STEP 1.

Let me give you some ideas to get you started;

• – What is your favorite hobby?
• – What was the last item of clothing you bought?
• – What is your favorite food?
• – What is your favorite item you own?
• – What did you give a family member for Christmas last year?

An example list might look like this;

NOW i want YOU to open up your web browser, go to Google.com and type a search term like this (keeping the quotes);

“Football” <- Replace Football with each word from your list.

The Google search I would do looks like this;

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=”Football”&aq=f&oq=&aqi=

NEXT, for each of the 10 things you have written down, I want you to repeat the same Google search BUT this time write down how many results Google found.

For Example, my search for “Football” found;

So I would write down 320,000,000 results next to it and move onto the next one on my list.

Once you have found results for all of your items, REAGRANGE YOUR LIST with the highest results at the top and the lowest results at the bottom.

STEP 2.

YOU are now going to keep the TOP 5 most popular results and remove the rest.

Next what I want you to do is follow the link below to access Google’s Free keyword search tool;

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

For each of the remaining 5 items on your list, perform a search using the keyword tool and order the results by the column header ‘global monthly search volume’.

I want you to SAVE the top performing keywords/phrases along with the monthly search volume amount into a EXCEL document. (or write them down if you don’t have excel).

Repeat the same step until you have 50 keywords phrases, 10 for each of your 5 remaining items from your list.

STEP 3.

NOW I want you to tally up (count) the TOTAL SEARCH VOLUMES for each of the 10 keywords/phrases you have added to each of the 5 items on your list.

So you will end up with 5 items from your list and a TOTAL next to them based on Google Search Results and a Total based on google Keyword Monthly Volums.

FINALLY

NOW i want you to look at your 5 totals and REORDER THEM with the BIGGEST collective monthly search at the top and the smallest at the bottom.

Save the list and total search results along with the keywords for later! DO NOT delete them!
